Panabrite
Well, it’s time for some ambient music. It’s pretty late at night, and I just want to listen to something that I can lose myself in. Maybe you know this feeling too? Maybe you don’t though. Maybe you haven’t been properly exposed to ambient music. It can do wonders.
If you’re in need of some refreshingly healing down time, find some good headphones or speakers and listen to Panabrite’s album “Soft Termina.” You can find it on Bandcamp where you can stream it for free or download it for seven dollars. It’s among the best Oklahoma has to offer.
Norm Chambers created this masterpiece and released it on March 1 of this year. It’s been listened to quite a few times I’m sure, but I don’t know if it’s got the recognition it deserves. This is a very, very solid album. I’m pretty picky when it comes to ambient music, but I can listen all the way through this album and never feel like anything is missing.
“Camembert Symphony” seems to be the stand out track on this album, and if you’re not going to give the whole album a serious listen, at the very least start here. Come to it with an open mind, and it will open your mind even more.
All the tones on Soft Terminal are beautiful, all the arrangements are tasteful and everything flows together wonderfully. If you’re a fan of ambient music, or if you’re looking for a very solid first exposure, check out Panabrite.
